I do not know my Have and Want - but I know the silent music played in my backyard doesn't speak loud about money, it speak about people and art. All are artists - whether I write and get published or not. Though I know that write and publish is the central theme of the site.
Why publish? Why not write and keep it for your heirs to read through soiled papers and going unsung at the burial. Many here my shudder at the though - cause the prime thought that brought many of us here is the desire to be immortal - in the fame of published author.
But I am here only to have peace - to get into coffee table with differet kinda people than whom we meet everyday and with whom we can hardly discuss what we may discuss here - the life, living, the collective flow of writing and understand our civilisation
Any one whose life's radar seek creative growth and self discovery through writing are always welcome.
My basic stat - Fin Pro in practise in India - Gujarat.
Wrote a number of finctional shorts - a few were well recieved and got published. Have a novel ready - done out of fun, in collaboration with my American girl freind. Do write poems. have two blog sites which waits to have my care for update for over six months now.I am Indian, married with a great hubby and a 13 year son. My works relates to teen and adolescent adventure and on various social conflicts.
Hope we attain our dream of meeting the right people here.

On a Path to NoWhere | | Immortality, I have never understood. The idea of remaining alive forever. May be that life is just of your name or your idea.. living for ever.. passing from generation to generation..
you see, I believe in the Darwin theory. It does state that we live for the progress of our species, the survival of the same type life and we do that by sex and thus passing our Genes to the next generation.
The 'Genes' I understand.
And then I read about this thing, 'Meme'. This is something quite similar to a 'Gene', just that is not a physical but an Idea..
We want are Ideas also to be passed on through generations.
Just some vague ideas on my part.
